Illustration has always been a passion of mine—an outlet for storytelling, creativity, and self-expression. I love the process of bringing ideas to life, whether through bold compositions, playful concepts, or intricate details. Experimenting with different styles and techniques allows me to push my creativity and explore new ways to connect with an audience. From hand-drawn elements to mixed media and digital techniques, I enjoy crafting illustrations that are dynamic, expressive, and full of personality.
Dream Factory is a personal project I created during my portfolio class. The fully illustrated vinyl cover draws inspiration from the concept of dreaming, while the term 'factory' reflects the experience of working overtime and constantly producing during this period. The tracklist features songs from my Spotify playlist—tracks I often listen to while doing graphic design late at night, helping me zone out and get work done, which ties into the 'dreaming' theme. With synthesizers playing a key role, the music evokes an 80s, neon-lit atmosphere, capturing the essence of late-night productivity and creative flow.
This illustration project was created for a friend who wanted a cohesive theme across two concert posters for one of her favorite bands. Given full creative freedom, I developed a design centered around "monsters in the city," with each poster reflecting the city where the concerts took place. To match the playful and irreverent energy of Blink-182, I incorporated a bold comic book style, using dynamic compositions, exaggerated characters, and vibrant details to bring the scenes to life.
This project focused on visually merging two unrelated words into a single cohesive illustration. The chosen words, “food” and “pool,” were combined to create a playful and imaginative series of three posters. Each piece explores creative interpretations of these concepts, blending elements of swimming pools and popular foods in unexpected and dynamic ways. This project challenged me to think conceptually, experiment with composition, and use illustration to transform simple ideas into engaging visual narratives.
