I worked as a Corporate Content Specialist at SSG for nearly two years, playing a pivotal role in the evolution of the brand. During my time there, I helped update the branding style, which culminated in the launch of a refreshed website. A standout design choice I made was the integration of both illustrated and real photo graphics—an approach that distinguishes the brand in the B2B space by adding unique visual appeal and personality. This blend of visuals not only grabs attention, but also humanizes the brand, making it more relatable and memorable to its audience.
My work spanned a variety of creative disciplines, including the creation of thousands of illustrations, hundreds of LinkedIn banners, and email campaigns. In addition, I contributed to projects such as landing pages, website development, video editing, animations, one-pagers, blogs, and guides—each focused on enhancing user engagement and reinforcing the brand's presence.
For the rebranding of SSG, the goal was to create a visual identity that was both beautiful and simple, moving away from the typical dark, corporate tech aesthetic. Instead, we aimed for a lighter, more playful look that would make us stand out in the B2B space. To achieve this, we revamped the color palette by shifting the focus to blues and greens, giving the brand a fresh and revived feel without completely altering its foundational elements.
The rebrand introduced organic, blob-like shapes throughout our visuals. These accents added depth and excitement to the graphics, while drawing inspiration from raw data visualizations. The dotted patterns represent data points, the topographic patterns evoke line graphs, and the concentric circles symbolize circle graphs—each element contributing additional meaning and enhancing the overall design.
Another one of the unique design features was the use of hand-drawn icons and illustrations, which brought a more human touch to the brand and helped differentiate us from competitors. These icons could represent offices in specific cities or be combined with other landmarks to create a custom SSG city skyline.
Lastly, while we often use real images, we also embraced illustration to break away from traditional visuals. The distinctive style blends shapes, illustrations, and image cutouts to visually represent concepts and complement accompanying text in a way that feels both fresh and engaging.
While working on the website, our goal was to maintain a simple design, using ample white space to create a clean and open feel. We broke away from traditional color boundaries, incorporating our new illustrations as vibrant pops of color to unify the overall design.

I created a variety of videos, including event recaps, animations, gifs, and a video series for LinkedIn and our internal hub. This reel highlights work from both before and after our rebrand. Many of these projects were completed under tight deadlines—just 3 to 7 days—challenging me to balance creativity with efficiency in delivering impactful content.
